Dominant Space

Dominant Space is a unit formed in 2017 consisting of prominent progressive house artist Yuji Ono, who boasts a plethora of releases from many globally renowned labels —and masa8 (pronounced "Masaya"), a DJ/promoter active across all regions of Japan with a formidable list of artists he has brought to the island nation.DS's style is anchored in European trance with elements of tech and psy infused. Their productions are supported by a broad spectrum of DJs both in Japan and out—taking the traditional trance sound and reworking it with a killer modern edge.2017 saw them sign to Japan's foremost label Otographic Music, culminating in the Dominant Space remix of Nhato's "Ibuki."
