Morta Mor is a multidisciplinary artist, DJ, and a dancefloor anthropologist. Before stepping behind the decks, she spent years designing experiences: from boutique festivals and club nights to immersive experiences and her own wearable art brand, UKENA. Today, those worlds continue to collide, turning every dancefloor into both a playground and a field study. Originally from Lithuania, Morta has spent the past twelve years living in Paris, Geneva, Berlin and Bali, with a brief return home during the pandemic, where she started DJing. She now splits her time between Berlin and Bali, regularly playing in both scenes while collecting influences, stories and strange little musical discoveries on the go. Her eclectic sound lives somewhere between the weird, the sassy and the trippy, held together by groove-driven house music and a healthy obsession with making people dance. Equal parts dancer, dedicated party-goer and obsessive digger, she gravitates towards tracks with personality - playful vocals, hypnotic grooves, left-field surprises and the occasional hip-hop flirtation. Rather than chasing genres, Morta builds narratives. Her sets unfold through contrast: dreamy yet driving, cheeky yet emotional, unexpected but somehow inevitable. Along the way, she consciously amplifies women, queer and underrepresented producers - both as a statement, and simply because they’re making some of the most exciting music she’s found.
