JP Candela

JP Candela is a Madrid-born DJ now based in Ibiza who has become one of the key DJs in the international electronic music scene and has played a crucial role in the island’s musical history, holding weekly residencies for the last 15 years at iconic clubs like HI Ibiza, Pacha Ibiza and Space Ibiza. During the summer of 2024, he’s been spinning at clubs like Cova Santa and Playa Soléil, as well as being part of one of the biggest Afro House parties, SUMMERIANS, which has become a must-go event on the island. His musical style is rooted in the Techno vibes of the late '80s, the House sound of the '90s and the Progressive House of the 2000s. Influenced by legends like Frankie Knuckles, Kerri Chandler, Jerome Sydenham, and Dennis Ferrer, his sound now covers a diverse range that includes Afro House, House, Indie Dance, Melodic House and Melodic Techno. His sets are known for being eclectic, dynamic, and full of groove, captivating audiences all over the world. Throughout his career, JP Candela has remixed a wide variety of artists, from icons like New Order to Pop and Hip-Hop Stars like David Guetta, SIA, Kid Cudi and Snoop Dog. He’s also taken on remixes of classic electronic tracks like "HEY HEY" by Dennis Ferrer, "Plastic Dramas" by Jaydee, "Strings Of Life" by Soul Central, and "You’re Not Alone" by Olive.
