Drastic Shuffle

Drastic Shuffle is a DJ and curator whose career spans promotion, music journalism and radio. She cut her teeth working with indie labels and as editor of Playground magazine and as a contributor to many music magazines and newspapers in Spain, shaping music discourse with her sharp pen and ear. She started doing radio in Madrid for Mexico City stations: Radio Neurótica, FM/ and university shows, and co-founded the eclectic Nerd Sound System collective, igniting Madrid’s nightlife. She hosts two monthly radio shows, one at Netil Radio diving into house, techno, IDM, and genre-defying oddities, and one at Voices Radio blending ambient, dub, reggae and sunrise-ready electronica. Founder of the genre-fluid vinyl label This, she champions emerging artists, while working as studio manager at Mission London where she has also helped to run programs to mentor and teach young adults how to DJ. A lifelong digger, Drastic Shuffle’s sets and projects pulse with curiosity—always unearthing the unexpected.
