cortisoul

Born in Mumbai, sharpened in New York City, and now based in Pittsburgh, Cortisoul has spent nearly two decades refining a groove-first philosophy behind the decks. His sound ranges from deep, rolling deep house to stripped-back, hypnotic minimal, shaped by Detroit’s foundation and the restraint of the European underground. There are no obvious drops or telegraphed peaks — just constant rhythm, control, and momentum. A club DJ at heart, Cortisoul specializes in long blends and patient builds that reward dancers who stay locked in. Whether on vinyl or CDJs, his sets are defined by precision, subtle shifts, and careful room reading. It’s a long-game approach: consistency over hype, depth over spectacle, and trust in the intelligence of the dancefloor
