MISTINGO

Techno built on speed, tension & groove. Producer, DJ, and 1/3 of MISTINGO is a Montreal-based techno DJ whose sound is rooted in speed, tension, and groove. Drawing from the raw energy of hard groove and contemporary techno, he crafts high-intensity sets built around fast-paced rhythms, intricate syncopation, and hypnotic melodic elements. With a minimalist yet highly intentional approach, MISTINGO focuses on the finer details that shape the dancefloor experience — textures, layering, and subtle transitions. His sets evolve progressively, creating a sense of controlled urgency and a breathless groove that keeps audiences locked in from start to finish. Balancing precision and instinct, he navigates between percussive drive and atmospheric depth, always maintaining a strong narrative flow. Beyond the booth, MISTINGO is also an active contributor to Montreal’s underground scene. In 2019, he co-founded the collective La North, an industrial techno collective based in Montreal. In 2024, he co-founded Phosphate Records, a hard groove-focused label dedicated to pushing forward a new generation of artists and sounds. Through its releases, the label highlights a distinctive Montreal identity while aiming to resonate on an international scale. Driven by a clear artistic vision, MISTINGO positions himself at the intersection of contemporary techno and groove culture
